The “Ptashka-shelest” necklace is crafted from vibrant blue lapis lazuli and delicate white mother-of-pearl. Lapis lazuli has been regarded since ancient times as a symbol of majesty and nobility, while mother-of-pearl highlights its depth with a refined glow.
The focal point is a meticulously handcrafted brass bird that doubles as a tiny bell. In the Hutsul region, necklaces with such bells were called “shelesty.” In this piece, the little bird symbolizes the arrival of spring and new beginnings, lending the necklace a distinct ethnic accent and a sense of lightness.
Necklace length – 42 cm, with an extension chain featuring the signature SHTERNO logo for convenient adjustment.
