The "Waves of the Dnipro" necklace is embodied in agate stones, known as "tiger's eye" for its characteristic shimmer. This color palette reminded us of the shades of the Dnipro River, combining the color of a steel sky and yellowish sand. The lunula is a replica of an ancient piece of jewelry worn by women during the times of Kyivan Rus'. This is how the name of the necklace, "Waves of the Dnipro," came to be.

The lunula pendant, in the shape of a three-headed serpent, is handcrafted by a brass-smith based on a historical model. This is a type of adornment that was widely worn by women in the 9th-12th centuries throughout the European territories where Slavic peoples lived. In particular, such pendants were common across almost the entire territory of modern Ukraine. To this day, various examples of them are found during archaeological excavations. These adornments are a profound part of Ukrainian cultural heritage that we can still connect with today.
