This choker was born from the combination of textures and shapes of jasper beads, asymmetric vintage garnet, and a brass lunula. The unique jasper patterns recall the rock formations and canyons of Podillia, while the lunula represents the symbols inherited from the ancient inhabitants of this region.

Jasper is an opaque variety of chalcedony, whose color is due to inclusions of iron oxide and manganese. Natural patterns and stripes add special beauty to the beads. Thanks to its high hardness (6.5–7 on the Mohs scale), it is durable and practical for use in jewelry.
Garnet is a mineral from the silicate group that gets its rich red-burgundy color from a high content of iron and aluminum. This stone has been known since ancient times: in Ancient Egypt, it was used to inlay the jewelry of pharaohs, in the Middle Ages, garnet was popular among knights as a symbol of courage, and in Ukraine, it was found in the princely treasures of Kyivan Rus'.
A Lunula is a traditional female amulet that was popular in Slavic cultures. Its crescent shape symbolizes a connection to natural cycles and feminine energy. In Kyivan Rus', lunulae were worn as pendants on necklaces, earrings, or as elements of headdresses, and their discovery during archaeological excavations confirms the long tradition of this symbol on the territory of Ukraine.
