A necklace with brass doves, handcrafted beads, and coral. The new necklace features coral that resembles antique coral in size, salmon color, and texture. These corals are a true find, as you can wear this necklace on its own with a variety of looks or layer it with other necklaces in your collection. The doves in the center are part of an ancient Ukrainian dukach. Wealthy Cossack families used to take a valuable coin, a heart, or an icon, and a jeweler would transform it into a pendant with a floral frame adorned with precious stones. These frames are called "banty" and have different variations depending on the region and the traditional techniques used in their creation.
