Garnet is a mineral from the silicate group that gets its rich red-burgundy color from a high content of iron and aluminum. This stone has been known since ancient times: in Ancient Egypt, it was used to inlay the jewelry of pharaohs, in the Middle Ages, garnet was popular among knights as a symbol of courage, and in Ukraine, it was found in the princely treasures of Kyivan Rus'.
A Bereginya is an ancient female amulet that embodies protection, fertility, and a connection with ancestors. The symbolism of the bereginya with a "sown field" on the pendant is deeply rooted in Ukrainian tradition and can be found in embroidery and ancient ornaments.
