The "Nacreous Clouds" collection is inspired by the natural beauty of sunsets and the soft pink-purple palette of natural aquamarine, rose quartz, and lavender amethyst beads.

The main pendant, "Z Nashchada Svitu" (From the Dawn of the World), is a contemporary piece by a master brass artisan. Reimagining historical Ukrainian pendants, they've created an item that continues tradition and will pass it on to future generations. The pendant's name references the Christmas carol "Oh, how it was from the Dawn of the World" and other ritual songs.
The equilateral crosses are a modern interpretation of Cossack crosses—symbols of the Cossacks, the Zaporozhians, Ukrainian chivalry, and the military. Traditionally, such crosses were depicted on seals, Cossack coats of arms, and flags. The pendants are handcrafted from brass.
Lavender amethyst consists of select light, translucent beads of amethyst, a mineral that naturally boasts a wide palette of purple hues. Amethyst is the most valuable variety of quartz (SiO2). Its characteristic violet color comes from iron impurities and natural radiation exposure over millions of years. This is a transparent or translucent stone with a vitreous luster and high hardness (7 on the Mohs scale), making it scratch-resistant.
Aquamarine is a variety of beryl, known for its delicate blue or greenish-blue color, reminiscent of seawater. Its shades can range from almost transparent to deep blue, depending on the iron impurities in its composition. This stone features a vitreous luster and high hardness (7.5-8 on the Mohs scale), making it durable and suitable for daily wear. Aquamarine has long been associated with the sea, purity, and tranquility, and sailors considered it an amulet protecting against storms and bringing good fortune on voyages.
Pink Madagascar quartz is a high-quality rose quartz mined on the island of Madagascar. Its wide palette of pink shades is provided by microscopic inclusions of titanium, iron, or manganese, and its translucent structure is responsible for a soft glow effect. It's important to know that this mineral is sensitive to sunlight—prolonged exposure to UV light can cause it to lose its intensity and approach white quartz. Therefore, it's recommended to store and wear the jewelry avoiding prolonged direct sunlight.
The length of the necklace is 40 cm, the ribbon ties are 30 cm. This allows you to adjust the length and height of the necklace when used with other jewelry.
