An incredibly beautiful zgarda! Lapis lazuli and glowing Venetian glass! Five Hutsul crosses — replicas of ancient designs — and beads crafted in the style of Carpathian carving. So elegant, dainty, and charming — as they say in various corners of Ukraine. Traditionally, a zgarda refers to a necklace made from metal wire with Hutsul crosses strung onto it as a single unit. However, some Hutsuls also refer to necklaces with Venetian glass beads, other types of beads, or even coins instead of crosses as zgardas. This necklace is perfect for a variety of occasions and celebrations, particularly for Christmas. With its unique design and deep symbolism, it’s not just a piece of jewelry but also a precious family heirloom that can be passed down through generations. You can wear it on its own or pair it with a more elaborate necklace from our shop to create a layered effect that highlights your individuality.
Material: lapis lazuli, glass, brass, fittings. Bead size: 1.2 cm (0.47 inches), 0.6 cm (0.24 inches). Necklace length: 42 cm (16.5 inches) + an extender chain, allowing you to adjust the length to your preference.

Remove the necklace before bathing, sleeping, or exercising.
Avoid contact with water and perfumes to maintain the shine of the brass details and the rich color of the rose quartz.
Do not expose the necklace to direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent the stone from fading.
Store the necklace in a box or pouch, protected from dust and sunlight.
