A necklace filled with sunlight! Carnelian is an incredible stone, known since ancient times. In any archaeological museum in the world, you will find necklaces made of it, as it was processed and added to jewelry as far back as the Neolithic period. The word "carnelian" itself means "heart-shaped." Structurally, it is a chalcedony with added iron, which gives it its red color. Carnelian is the color of blood, the color of life. For this reason, ancient peoples believed that it had the power to protect the living from death and illness, and to bring happiness and peace. At the same time, it was believed to encourage love, and people wore it as a talisman.
This talisman is complemented by the lunula pendant—a symbol worn by Slavs across Europe from the 10th to the 12th centuries, considered an amulet of "female power." It also features stylized depictions of Trypillian figurines ("babas"). The image of a woman as the guardian of the family was sacred. The pendants are handmade from brass by Ukrainian artisans and are historical replicas. This necklace can make a wonderful gift for a wife, daughter, bride, or friend.
