Hutsul crosses on white pearls are the idea with which the SHTERNO brand began. While living in the Hutsul region for some time, an idea struck me: what if we combine Hutsul crosses with pearls, thus modernizing the ancient zgardas. After all, in the living Hutsul dialect, almost any necklace—whether metal or with coins—could be called a zgarda. This necklace is the result of our experiments, which showed how wonderful the combination of baroque pearls and Hutsul geometry is.
Materials: white baroque pearls, brass pendants, jewelry alloy.
Baroque white pearls with their natural asymmetrical shape and soft luster. Each pearl is unique, as it has not undergone the faceting process. These organic forms give the necklace an elegant look and make each piece one-of-a-kind.
The equilateral brass crosses are a modern interpretation of traditional Hutsul crosses combined with the style of Carpathian wood carving, created by a Ukrainian mosiaznyk master.
The necklace length is 42 cm, and an extension chain with the signature SHTERNO logo adds a few extra centimeters.
Care & Warranty
Remove the necklace before bathing, sleeping, or exercising.
Avoid contact with water and perfumes to maintain the shine of the brass details and the rich color of the rose quartz.
Do not expose the necklace to direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent the stone from fading.
Store the necklace in a box or pouch, protected from dust and sunlight.
