"Hutsul Heart" Necklace
This necklace is like a symbol of love for the Carpathian mountains—it unites landscape jasper, whose color and texture evoke the mountains themselves; dark, select nephrite, like the pines growing on the mountain slopes; and a heart with engraved ornaments characteristic of these places. The necklace is complemented by brass twisted beads—"perelizhky"—which are an element of Hutsul zgarda necklaces.
Materials:
Natural landscape jasper, nephrite, brass pendant, jewelry alloy.
The brass heart-shaped pendant features hammered Hutsul ornaments, as if crafted on a treasure chest. It's a cast, handmade piece.
Brass "perelizhky" are spring-shaped beads that are a traditional element of Hutsul zgarda necklaces.
Nephrite, also known as jadeite, is a mineral that, despite its relative softness (5.5-6.5 on the Mohs scale), is exceptionally tough and durable. This is likely why it's one of the oldest minerals used for creating jewelry and ritual objects. It was valued in various cultures worldwide, particularly in China, where it was considered the "stone of emperors" and symbolized wisdom, harmony, and strength of spirit.
Landscape jasper is a variety of chalcedony distinguished by unique, often intricate patterns resembling natural landscapes such as deserts, mountains, or water scenes. These patterns form due to impurities of various minerals like iron, manganese, or clay, which crystallize in layers over millions of years. Each piece of landscape jasper is a unique work of natural art, and its color palette can include shades of beige, brown, gray, red, and green.
The necklace length is 42 cm, with an additional few centimeters provided by an extender chain featuring the SHTERNO brand logo.

Remove the necklace before bathing, sleeping, or exercising.
Avoid contact with water and perfumes to maintain the shine of the brass details and the rich color of the beads.
Do not expose the necklace to direct sunlight for prolonged periods to prevent the stone from fading.
