Necklace with doves, white mother-of-pearl, and Venetian glass
This light and symbolic necklace combines the gentle shimmer of white mother-of-pearl, decorative Venetian glass, and handcrafted brass elements. The central accent features two brass doves — a stylized nod to traditional Ukrainian dukach pendants — and a heart, echoing the jewelry traditions of the 16th–18th centuries.
In traditional symbolism, doves represent love, loyalty, and harmony. Mother-of-pearl, with its natural luster and soft glow, adds a sense of calm and elegance to the piece.
Venetian glass beads with floral details create a striking visual accent and add vintage charm. These handmade beads were historically crafted in Venice under strict secrecy, as they were considered highly valuable due to their gold inclusions and complex production techniques. They bring together artistry, history, and luxury in every detail.
Materials: mother-of-pearl, brass, glass, jewelry alloy, steel. Bead size: 1 cm (0.39 inches), 0.8 cm (0.31 inches). Pendant size: 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 inches). Length: 42 cm (16.5 inches) + extension chain.
Necklace length – 42 cm, with an adjustable chain featuring the signature SHTERNO logo, adding a few extra centimeters.
