This necklace made of rich red carnelian with dove pendants can be purchased separately or as a set with a three-strand carnelian necklace featuring brass wild rose (shypshynka) beads from the "Seeds" collection.
The oval beads of deep red color resemble cornelian cherries (kyzyl) and pair wonderfully with the brass wild rose beads. Similar beads were used in traditional opulent Ukrainian necklaces, while the dove pendant is inspired by dukachi (traditional pendants), rendered in a more modern interpretation. The warm color of the carnelian and the soft gleam of the brass will elegantly complement your look.

Carnelian is one of the oldest semi-precious stones, used since Neolithic times. In antiquity, it was called the "princely stone" due to its bright hue and association with power, wisdom, and energy. Thanks to its warm glow and translucent structure, carnelian not only gives the jewelry a special charm but also remains a symbol of vital force.
The dukach with doves and a heart is made of brass by a Ukrainian artisan who based it on traditional Ukrainian pendants. Historically, the dukach was an amulet and a sign of prosperity, as precious coins or religious images were used for these pendants. Here, the doves have a more contemporary look with hearts, yet a connection can be traced to the ancient "bows" (banty) of dukachi and traditional symbolism, where doves were a symbol of loyalty and sincerity of feelings.
