This choker is crafted from natural lapis lazuli, a deep blue stone with golden pyrite flecks. Lapis lazuli was used as early as in Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, and Greece — for amulets, jewelry, sacred objects, and even as a pigment for ultramarine paint.

The centerpiece features a handcrafted brass cross and beads made in the style of traditional Carpathian wood carving. The geometric patterns replicate motifs that adorned wooden items in the Hutsul region, especially chests — sacred household objects passed down through generations.
